Cleaning Maintenance Supervisor

Schedule: Friday to Monday (Evenings/Nights, depending on event schedule) & Wednesday Evenings

Overview

E2E Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness at a state-of-the-art event center in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience, hands-on cleaning expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This role requires flexibility with evening/night shifts and close collaboration with both E2E project management and the facility manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Supervision & Leadership
    • Oversee a team of cleaning staff to ensure daily janitorial duties, pre-event preparations, post-event deep cleans, and porter services are executed with excellence.
    • Provide on-site training, guidance, and support to new and existing staff members.
    • Monitor employee performance and maintain a positive, motivating work environment.
  2. Quality Control & Compliance
    • Conduct routine inspections of all serviced areas, including event spaces, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairwells, to verify tasks are completed to company standards.
    • Ensure safety protocols, proper chemical usage, and compliance with OSHA and venue guidelines.
    • Promptly address issues such as spills, accidents, or damage, and coordinate repairs or additional cleaning measures as needed.
  3. Coordination & Communication
    • Work closely with the E2E Project Manager and The Facility Manager to align cleaning schedules with event calendars and special requests.
    • Communicate any staffing or supply needs, event-specific requirements, or challenges to management in a timely manner.
    • Document and report damages, maintenance concerns, or feedback for continuous improvement.
  4. Inventory & Equipment Management
    • Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and storage of cleaning tools to uphold efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.
  5. Customer Service & Professionalism
    • Serve as the on-site point of contact for venue management during events to address cleaning or maintenance needs promptly.
    • Exhibit a professional demeanor, maintain a friendly presence, and foster positive relationships with clients and guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous Managerial Experience: Minimum 1 year supervising teams, preferably in a hospitality or janitorial setting.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance Expertise: Strong knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish): Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages to effectively lead a diverse team and communicate with clients.
  • Availability: Must be able to work evenings/nights Friday to Monday and Wednesday evenings, with flexibility for event-based scheduling.
  • Strong Work Ethic & Reliability: Punctuality, dependability, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry items (up to 30 lbs.) throughout the shift.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
